It has been established in 1999 to fulfill the market needs in Egypt and to export vegetable oil to Arab countries.We produces vegetable oil such as Soya,Sunflower,and corn under different commercial names,most famous of which are Omry,and Ohle,and we believe that we are one of the few companies in the ARE which has successfully adopted the highest technology and has the capital funding to support the commercial production of soybean. We also sell other products derived from our production processes as animal feeds.Our philosophy is to develop a close relationship with our esteemed partners for mutual benefit and to create with them long term relationship. And we do our utmost to adapt our products to the higher requirements,that how Borg AL Arab for Industry has succeeded so far to establish good commercial relationship with several countries throughout the world such as: Lebanon,Jordan,Greece,Australia,Brazil and others.In fact,the location of our plant in a free zone gave us a lot of facilitates: We benefits from all tariff reduction and all trade agreement between Arab countries and Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa in particular total exemption from import duties for Lebanon and Libya and reduction by half of import duties for all other countries of the Arab League.The company,with these facilities and its relation succeeded,in a very short time,to reach an export level of almost 50% of its productivity compared to 25% in 2002 and 8% in 2001. The company aim to increase this percentage in next few years.Due the good reputation of our company in the Egyptian and the Arab market and in order to increase the productivity of the plant we begin,not only to produce different kind of oil for the local market and the exportation consumption,but also to extract,refine and bottle oil for other companies in Egypt and in the Arab countries.We provide to the customer the delivering of his products via trucks or Ocean fright.
